Modification of Sentence

In some cases, a person serving a jail sentence may be eligible to request the Court to modify their sentence.  If you were sentenced by the Court or if your plea agreement contained a provision permitting you to seek a sentence modification, you may be currently eligible for a sentence modification.

If you are interested in a sentence modification, please contact an attorney sooner rather than later.  Even if you are eligible to request a sentence modification, it does not require the court to modify your sentence. It simply means you may file a request for modification.  Please consult an attorney immediately. An attorney will help guide you through the process to put you in the best possible position to modify your sentence. The trial court judge has broad discretion as to whether or not to grant your petition to modify. Therefore, it is more than important to make sure you are in the best position to make such a request.

If you or a loved one are interested in a sentence modification, please contact the Pejic Law Group, P.C. to determine if you are eligible for modification.
